March 23, 2002

It has been quite awhile since the last update. I've been working on some other projects, but of course, I invariably get drawn back into the mystery of "The Ghost Diary". It has been about half a year since I received the last material from the unknown mystery person. I have not been able to track them down, and as time goes by, I tend to wonder if it was just a hoax. But I still have the document they sent me, and I intend to transcribe it and publish it here on this site soon. Maybe this will help unravel this weird set of circumstances.

December 5, 2001

I have been trying to uncover the identity of the person who has sent me the second document mentioned in an earlier update. No luck. Suffice to say it is not a diary this time, but an account of someone connected to the mystery of JenniferX.

I have received some odd news which I cannot discuss at the moment. Suffice to say, I have received another document of unknown origins.

I've been plagued by a series of strange dreams as of late. They all seem to involve a graveyard, with dead hands coming out the ground, trying to grab at me. Each dream is almost identical, except for some variances in the location. Each time I am walking through a graveyard at night, and I am drawn towards a certain gravestone. No matter how hard I try to focus my eyes, I cannot read what is on the stone, but I know there is writing there. Then suddenly, a hand or two hands will shoot out of the ground and grab my ankle. At that point, I always wake up.

Happy New Year!

There has been some interest in turning The Ghost Diary into a movie, and I am currently working on a script. Think Witchboard meets Scream and you'll get the idea.

November 4, 2000

Halloween was an eventful time around here. After a party, some friends and I decided to have a little seance at my place, focusing on 'The Ghost Diary' and it's 'author'. It was a bit hard to concentrate, considering we had just come back from a party, but when things settled down, the strangeness began to happen. I called out to JenniferX, to see if she was alive or dead. Our single candle seemed to flicker a little, but there was nothing else that I would consider a response. About 10 minutes later, I opened up the diary to the middle and held a pen in my hand, and instructed the spirit to write for me. (Sounds crazy, but I was a little tipsy.)

Then, the unexpected happened, and the page of the diary seemed to turn over by itself. We all jumped at the same time, and the moment was over. We all just sat there with our mouths open, wondering what to do next. One person got up and turned on the lights, and we started to laugh a little, but we were still quite shaken.

Tried the Ouija board again with some friends, again no real strange occurences, but
one of the participants became very ill for a week.

Finally got around to trying out my own Ouija board... nothing happened.

At a flea market, I found a vintage Ouija Board that was manufactured in the 1950's.
Should I try it out? :)

My phone has been ok for quite awhile now, but now my TV is acting up. It likes to turn itself on and off in the middle of the night!

I had a dream last night where I was surrounded by darkness and all I could hear was this banging sound, like the sound of a hammer.

I changed my phone number, and after one week the 'static' phone calls have returned.

The real "Ghost Diary" has been seemingly moving around my room by itself! I leave it lying in one place, and when I come back to the room, it has moved to a different location in the room!

The power supply blew on my PC. I was lucky that there was no damage to any of the components or my hard drives.

April 5th, 2000

In the last three weeks, I've almost been in five car accidents. In each one I've come out unscathed, except for a broken rear bumper. Driving in Toronto is bad, but this is ridiculous.

March 17th, 2000

The hard drive on my computer was mysteriously wiped out with no signs of physical damage. I had backups, so the the damage was minimal. I've also been getting several phonecalls from an unlisted number that are just static. The phone company has been unable to trace it.
